  1. You need 16 oz of Penne.
  2. Prepare 3 cup of Traditional Marinara.
  3. You need 8 oz of Feta cheese – crumbled.
  4. Prepare 1 pints of Sliced mushrooms.
  5. Prepare 3 medium of Roma Tomatoes – Diced.
  6. Prepare 1 clove of Garlic – minced.
  7. You need 1 pinch of Salt.
  8. You need 3 tbsp of Olive Oil.
  9. It’s 1/2 cup of Milk (or cream).
  10. Prepare 1/4 of Crushed Red Pepper Flakes.
  11. Prepare 2 cup of Kale.

Penne Rosa step by step

  1. Bring salted water to boil, add penne and 1 Tbsp olive oil.
  2. While penne is cooking, heat remaining oil in a sauce pan over medium heat.
  3. Add mushrooms and kale to pan and sauté in oil until mushrooms have given off their liquid.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Pour Marinara sauce into sauce pan and add tomatoes.
  6. Simmer sauce until penne is cooked el dente.
  7. Drain cooked pasta and set aside.
  8. As pasta cools, stir in milk and red pepper flakes to the simmering pasta sauce..
  9. Toss pasta in sauce, sprinkle crumbled feta on top and serve.
